and by the comparatively long interlamellar setae. Among the similar species (P. capillaris Aoki, 1961, P. dubitanda Hammer, 1972, P. foveolata Hammer, 1973, P. fráter B alogh," 1960, P. magnipora (Hammer, 1961), Pergalumna mauritii Mahunka, 1978) the new species stands nearest to P. frater and P. dubitanda , but it differs from frater by the shape of the areae porosae, from dubitanda by the much thinner and smooth interlamellar setae and by much longer sensillus. I dedicate this new species to my friend E.Kotschy (Budapest). Pergalumna margaritata sp. n. Sexual differentiations on the notogaster are present. Measurements.- Length: 451-490 Jim, width: 328-366 jum. No essential difference in the measurements between the males and females. Prodorsum: Rostrum sharply pointed and convex in lateral view (Fig. 30). Prodorsal surface roughened, covered by short, irregular wrinkles. Fine punctulation on the cuticula also well observable. Lamellar and sublamellar lines run nearly parallel, the former one directed to the bothridium. All three pairs of prodorsal setae strong and long, with long spines asymmetrically. Lamellar and interlamellar setae longer than the rostral one. Sensillus long, setiform, with long spines, they are mostly on its outer side. Areae porosae dorsosejugales completely reduced. Notogaster: A typical dorsosejugal suture absent, but a row consisting of small tubercles 'Fig. 27) present on its place. Notogastral surface similar to the prodorsal one. Pteromorphae with a distinct radiate design, but also an obscure polygonal sculpture observable. Mirror-spot halb-moon-shaped. Ten pairs of reduced setae, three pairs of areae porosae, a pair of median pori on both sexes, some macropori 5 pairs of lyrifissures and the opening of the glandula in the usual position present. Posterior outline and surface of the notogaster normal in the females, but slightly concave in the males and this hollow distinctly framed 'Fig. 26). Gnathosoma: Hypostoma concave anteromedially, with a strong transversal lath. Hypostomal setae arising on it. Chelicera normal with dark coloured distal end. Palpal femur wide, with a blade-like formation ventrally. Seta vF much shorter than 1"F. Setal formula: 2- 1-3-9+1 'Fig. 28). Lateral and ventral regions: Pedotecta 1 peculiar: angulate and unusually high posteriorly (Fig. 321. Circumpedal carina strong, reaching to the lateral margin of the ventral plate. Epimeral surface ornamented by irregular granules and ribs. Epimeral setal formula: l-0(l)-3-2. Apodema 3 very fine, almost fused with the sejugal one. Genital plate with two strong longitudinal scratch (Fig. 29), four pairs of setae arising beside the outer one. Two pairs of setae originating on the anterior margin. Anal and adanal setae varying in length, ad^ only half as long as adj. Area porosa postanalis absent. Legs: All legs tri- and heterodactylous. Their setal formula: I: 1-5-3+1-4+20+3-3 IV: 1-2-2-3+1-12-3 Position of solenidal group as shown in Fig. 31. Solenidium CJ \ nearly as long as <p2 ^Fifi- 34). Basis of y> i and ^2 connected by a longitudinal crest. Tibia of leg IV with sharp anterior spur (Fig. 33). Remarks: The new species is well distinguishable from all hitherto known taxa by the characteristic dorsosejugal formation. Material examined: Holotype (1359-HO89): No. 341 - 1. Vietnam, Da Lat, 20. X. 1988. Berlese samples: litter. Leg. Mahunka, S. - 8 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotype and 6 paratypes '1359-PO-89) deposited in the HNHM, 1 paratype in the CNC and 1 paratype in the MHNG.
