gaster these areae porosae are much smaller and A3 only elliptical. Lyrifissures im, ips and ih located very near to each other, as shown in Fig. 3. The racemiform organs always present in all specimens. Gnathosoma: All the main charactersf of this region are similar to those described for the type of this genus. Chelicerae with darkly coloured distal end. Palpal setal formula: 2-1-3-9 + 1. Seta v of femur strong, erect and well spiculate. Seta cm and acm+ O on tarsus nearly equal in length (Fig. 2*. Ventral and lateral regions: Structure in this region (Fig. 4) have the normal galumnoid characteristics. Epimeral setal formula: 1-0-2-1. These setae are reduced. Circumpedal carina weak, not distinct, observable near the lateral margin of the ventral plate. There are six pairs of setae on the genital plates, three longer pairs of them arising along the anterior margin of the plates. Aggenital, anal and adanal setae also minute, or reduced; setae adß inserted in adanal position, near to lyrifissure iad. Postanal area porosa conspicuously large, elongate. Legs: All legs tridactylous with a thicker median claw. The setal formulae: I (Fig. 9): 0-4-3 + 1-4+2-20+2-3 IV (Fig. 7): 1-2-1+1-3+1-12-3 The solenidial group* of tarsus 1 located near to the basis of this segment as shown iif Fig. 8. Material examined: Holotype (1356-HO89': No. 341 - 1. Vietnam, Da Lat, 20. X. 1988. Berlese samples: litter, leg. Mahunka, S. 16 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotype and 14 paratypes (1356-PO-89) deposited in the HNHM 2 , 1 paratype in the CNC 3 and 1 paratype in the MHNG. 4 ( . Remarks: On the basis of the position and form of the areae porosae and sensillus the new species stands very near to Galumna gibbula Grandjean, 1956 (stat. nov.); however, the interlamellar setae of the new species are reduced. Galumna khoii sp. n. Measurements. - Length: 425-482^111, width: 306-344 ^um. Prodorsum: Rostrum wide, rounded. Prodorsal surface medially smooth, but some weak transversal rugae and a polygonated field laterally observable. Both pairs of prodorsal lines (L and S* very strong 'Fig. 14), they converge to each other, lines L directed to the insertion of the interlamellar setae and angulate medially, near the insertion of the lamellar setae. Tutorium and the E horizontal lath thick, both well chitinised. Prodorsal setae, excepting the exobothridial one, well ciliated. Setae ro and le setiform, setae in blunt at tip. Sensillus very long, with spindle-shaped head, its distal part distinctly ciliate. Bothridial and dorsosejugal areae porosae present. Notogaster: Dorsosejugal suture present, but interrupted medially. Notogastral surface smooth, pteromorphal surface ornamented by fine radiate design. Four pairs of areae porosae and some macropori present, Aa nearly triangular, A1-A3 round. Ten pairs of alveoli, four pairs of lyrifissures, opening of glandulae and a median porus in their usual position ÍFig. 10). Gnathosoma: Hypostoma concave anteriorly. Setae h conspicuously thick and well ciliated. Distal end of the rutellum and the chelicera dark coloured. Palpal femur with ventral edge, its chaetotaxy has normal galumnoid characteristics. Solenidial group consist of the two solenidium ( and LO 2) tne famulus £• and the additional seta ft".
