Paroecetis struck! Klap. has never been published from Hungary, this species proved to be new for the Hungarian fauna. It is a rare species in Europe, too, it is indicated from only four regions. Its occurrence is questionable In three regions (Botosaneanu and Malicky 1978). In Remetey's collection two males were deposited. The localities The bulk of the localities is from Hungary. These Bites were localized correctly in the greatest number of cases. The local name could cause some difficulties. In this section all locality names will be enumerated. In brackets the administrative distribution /the name of next settlement* is given. The quotation marks show that the data regard larger region, e.g. Bükk Mountains. In order to correct geographical localization the UTM grid reference is also presented (see map). We give the data from the Carpathian Basin territories of Slo akia, Rumania and Yugoslavia. The original locality name of label is listed, but now we present their recent Slovakian etc. name and the UTM grid reference, too.
