Apantales telengai Tobias, 1972 (= amabilis Nixon, 1974) - Outer surface of hind coxa rugose. Scutellum densely punctate to rugose-rugulose. Antenna of female short, clearly shorter than body, its penultimate 2-3 joints 1. 3-1. 5 times as long as broad. Head in dorsal view less transverse, 1. 8 times broader than long. First tergite strongly broadening posteriorly. - Distribution: Widely distributed in the western Palaearctic Region: Great Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, USSR (European part, Armenia, Azerbaidzhan, Georgia, Soviet Middle Asia), Iran, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco. Apanteles tenebrosus (Wesmael, 1837) (? = astrarches Marshall, 1889: = genalis Tobias, 1964) - Antennái joints 14-17 subcubic, somewhat longer than broad. Malar space unusually long, 1.2-1.5 times longer than basal width of mandible. Eye in lateral view relatively small, 1. 5-2 times higher than wide. Head in frontal view only somewhat wider than high. Second tergite 2. 6-2. 7 times wider behind than long medially. - Distribution: Frequent to common in Europe. In Hungary common in the districts Eupannonicum (I/l) and Matricum (II/l, II/2), elsewhere less frequent. Apanteles tetricus Reinhard, 1880 (= opaculus Thomson, 1895; ?= sessilis Fourcroy, 1785; = subcutaneus Linnaeus, 1758 sensu Zetterstedt, 1840) - Third tergite rather anteriorly rugose-rugulose to uneven. Mesonotum with fine and dense rugosity giving it a somewhat sooty dullness. Maxillar palp five jointed, i.e. 5th and 6th joints fused. A dark coloured species. - Distribution: In Europe a frequent species, however, in Hungary up to now found but in a few localities. Apanteles tibialis (Curtis, 1830) (= atrator Curtis, 1830; = claustratus Gautier et Bonnamour, 1923; = congestus Nees, 1834; • globatus Bouché, 1834; • gracilipes Thomson, 1895; = gracilis Curtis, 1830; = intricatus Haliday, 1834; = similis Szépligeti, 1901; = simulans Lyle, 1917; ?= xylinus Say, 1836) - Outer side of hind coxa rugose-rugulose. Mesonotum with dense punctation, along notaulix rugose. Hypopygium truncate behind, apically usually not pointed. Legs reddish yellow, hind femur variable in colour, either reddish yellow to yellow (late spring and early summer generations) or nearly black to black (summer generation). In Hungary there are usually two generations of this species, in years with long autumn a third generation may also appear. - Distribution: In the Palaearctic Region frequent to common.
