A panteles acuminatus Reinhard, 1880 (= cultrator Marshal], 1885) - Tergites 1-2 usu­ally rugose, sometimes less rugulose or almost smooth; tergite 3 smooth. Metasoma more or less compressed laterally, hypopygium in lateral view large and conspicuously surpass­ing hind tergite, apically clearly pointed. Metasoma of female more or less reddish yellow, hind tergites usually black(ish). Metasoma of male black(ish) and at most with reddish tint.­Distribution : A species sporadic to frequent in Europe, in the USSR spread as far eastwards as Soviet Middle Asia, and occurring also in Israel. Apanteles acutulus Tobias, 1973 - Similar to A. acuminatus Reinhard. Outer side of hind coxa rugose to rugose-punctate. Hypopygium large and more or less surpassing end of last tergite, apically less pointed. Metasoma black. - Distribution: Lithuania in the USSR and Hungary. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities - II/1: 1 g: Felsóörs. - II/2: 12 g + 3 S: Máriabesnyó. 1 g: Fót. - III/4 (Transylvania): 1 g"Hadad (- Hodod). 1 g" ~B~iharfüred (= Stîna de Vale). - V and IX. Apanteles affinis (Nees, 1834) (= euphorbiae Bouché, 1834; = harpyiae Niezabitowski, 1910; = okamotoi Watanabe, 1932;, = planus Watanabe, 1932; = vinulae Bouché, 1834) - Disc of mesonotum with weak to very weak punctation, shiny to glistening. First tergite 1. 1-1.25 times as long as wide at hind. Penultimate joint of antenna 1. 6-1. 8 times as long as broad. Pterostigma issuing radial vein usually less distally from its middle. Tergites 2-3 to 2-7 frequently reddish to reddish yellow with more or less blackish suffusion, sometimes ter­gites black. - Distribution: Sporadic to frequent in the Palaearctic Region. In Hungary known from 8 localities; 6 of them fall in the Eupannonicum (i.e. the Great Hungarian Plain). Localities - I/1: 6 g + 18 S: Ágasegyháza, ex Laothoe populi L. (Lep. Apanteles analis (Nees, 1834) (= leucaniae Wilkinson, 1937; = praetextanus Haliday, 1834) - Metasoma reddish yellow, sternites yellow u pale yellow, tergites l-2(-3 ) black to blackish, hind two tergites sometimes black(ish). Tergite 1 short, 1.1-1.2 times as long as wide at hind, its two sides less narrowing basally. Scutellum smooth and shiny. Head in dor­sal view somewhat less transverse, 1.7-1.8 times as broad as long, go*: (2. 2-)2. 7-3. 2 mm long. - Distribution: A rare species, reported from England, Netherlands, Germany and Hungary. Localities - 1/1: 1 g: Bugac, Feketeszék, netting from Aster pannonicus. 11 g+ 2 6*: Gyón, ex Chrysaspidia festucae L. (Lep. Noctuidae) 26 May 1898. 1 g: Székesfehérvár. ­V, VIII-IX. Apanteles ancilla Nixon, 1974 - First tergite about as long as wide at hind. Meso­notum punctate, interspaces dull to subshiny, exceptionally shiny. Metacarp somewhat short­er than usual,about as long as pterostigma. Third tergite smooth, sometimes its basal half j to two-thirds rugo-rugulose to subrugulose. Hind tibia yellow to straw-yellow, distally rath­er faintly darkening. Body 2. 5-2.8 mm. - Distribution: Frequent in Europe, reported from Turkey, Israel, Mongolia and from the USSR (Ural Mts, Far East Maritime Region). New to the fauna of Hungary.
