Passalozetes (Passalozetes) niger sp. n. Measurements. - Length: 300-333 um, width: 156-169 um. Prodorsum: Rostrum broad, rostral setae curved strongly inwards, lamellar setae slightly longer but thinner. Interlamellar and exobothridial setae comparatively long, both pairs thin. Sensil­lus long, setiform, pectinately cillate (Fig. 27). Prodorsal surface with ribs, arranged - with the exception of the basal surface - mostly in longitudinal rows, partly branching. A stronger transver­sal basal lath and some shorter ones present basally (Fig. 29). Notogaster: Ten pairs of thin, fine notogastral setae present. Setae la and lm originating be­hind areae porosae Aa. Lenticulus well framed, distinct, round. Notogastral surface ornamented by radiate ribs, consisting of granules (Fig. 30). Coxisternal region: Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-2-3. All setae thin and simple. Epimeral sur­face ornamented mostly by transversal ribs, anteromedian and lateral part with shorter and irregular ones.
