Passalozetes (Passalozetes) niger sp. n. Measurements. - Length: 300-333 um, width: 156-169 um. Prodorsum: Rostrum broad, rostral setae curved strongly inwards, lamellar setae slightly longer but thinner. Interlamellar and exobothridial setae comparatively long, both pairs thin. Sensillus long, setiform, pectinately cillate (Fig. 27). Prodorsal surface with ribs, arranged - with the exception of the basal surface - mostly in longitudinal rows, partly branching. A stronger transversal basal lath and some shorter ones present basally (Fig. 29). Notogaster: Ten pairs of thin, fine notogastral setae present. Setae la and lm originating behind areae porosae Aa. Lenticulus well framed, distinct, round. Notogastral surface ornamented by radiate ribs, consisting of granules (Fig. 30). Coxisternal region: Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-2-3. All setae thin and simple. Epimeral surface ornamented mostly by transversal ribs, anteromedian and lateral part with shorter and irregular ones. Figs 27-28.
