Xylobates diani sp.n. Measurements. - Length: 434-542 um, width: 266-328 p.m. Prodorsum: Rotrum conical. Lamellae well developed, lamellar setae arising on their trun­cate cuspis. Prelamellar setae absent, tutorium short, but well observable. Rostral setae arising laterally, without basal chitinous thickening (Fig. 38). Ratio of prodorsal setae: in le ro. All setae well ciliate. Sensillus typically reclinate, long with short but well dilate head (Fig. ). Notogaster: Dorsosejugal suture lowly arched. Notogastral surface without sculpture. Ten pairs of short setae and four pairs of areae porosae present: Aa much larger than the others. Pteromorphae tongue -shaped . Coxisternal region: Epimeral surface ornamented by polygonal reticulation. Three pairs of apodemes visible, ap. sej. ending near to the genital apertures, ap. 2 and ap. 3 short (Fig. 41). Epimeral borders weakly observable, pedotecta 2-3 (Fig. 40) divided in two parts, setae 3c origi­nating between them. Discidium flat, with a longitudinal crest. Figs 29-30.
