Cretoppia creta sp.n. Measurements. - Length: 400-418 um, width: 228-240 um. Prodorsum: Rostrum rounded, rostral setae arising dorsally, but far from each other, being longer and stronger than lamellar setae. Latter originating much nearer to the minute interlamellar than to rostral setae. Some light spots present in the interlamellar area. Sensillus very long, ba­cilliform, its surface finely roughened (Fig. 53). A part of the exobothridial area granulate, ex­obothridial setae reduced (Fig. 52). Notogaster: Strong and long crista present (Fig. 46). All notogastral setae very thin, setae ta shorter than setae te. Coxisternal region: Apodemes partly reduced but ap. 2 long, almost touching medially; ap. sej. composing a transversal band. Ap. 3 and ap. 4 absent. Epimeral borders only partly observ­able, therefore, some epimeres open or fused. A well-visible thickening, like a knob present medially, in front of ap. 2.
