MAHUNKA (Received December 1, 1985) Abstract: Fourteen new species are described from Tanzania and from the Republic of South Africa. Six new genera: Steganacarellus . Baloghodes . Carabodella, Cretoppia, Rugoppia and Monogalumnella are established. In this series of my papaers I elaborate continuously the Oribatid materials from the eastern and southern parts of the Ethiopian Region. This part comprises mainly the species which were collected in Tanzania, but also several species which originate from South Africa. The material have been collected by L. PEREGOVITS (Tanzania) and Dr. S. ENDRODYYOUNGA (Republic of South Africa), whose activities are herewith also acknowledged. In this part I give the description of fourteen species, all being new to science. Among the new species six also represent new genera, which belong to the following families: Phthiracaridae, Carabodidae, Oppiiidae and Galumnellidae.
