FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK XLVL 2 1985 p. 27-29 Contribution to the knowledge of the Chloropid fauna of Bulgaria (Diptera: Chloropidae) By Á. DELY-DRASKOVITS (Received 30 July, 1985) Abstract: The author worked up a Chloropid material collected in Bulgaria in 1982. The 1000 specimens comprise 36 species belonging to 15 genera; they are listed below with names and collecting data. Two members of the Hungarian Natural History Museum made a one-month trip in 1982 to Bulgaria, collecting insects. They have already published the list of their collecting localities (DELY-DRASKOVITS and VÂLY, 1984). In this report we give the results of working up a single family the Chloropidae. There are numerous publications about the Bulgarian Chloropidae. Presently a very intensive faunistical and taxonomical research work is done by V. BESCHOWSKI for completion our knowledge of this big family. Therefore, our collectings were by far not pioneer works, still a significant contribution to the knowledge of this family. Our collectings took place in August 1982 near Sofia in the Vitosha Mountains and its surroundings, further in the Pirin Mountains, near the southern frontier of the country (Melnik and its neighbourhood), finally on the eastern seacoast south of Sosopol. We brought home about 15,000 insects, among others 6000 Diptera. This is a significant material not only for its quantity, but for its composition, containing flies of 58 families. Of these the Chloropids with about 1000 specimens yielded 35 species belonging to 15 genera. List of species Gaurax sp. - 3 9 : Vitosha Mt., 1000 m, 3.VHI; 1 £ : 28.VÜI. Elachiptera pubescens (Thalhammer, 1898) - 2 3 : 4 km of Sosopol, 20.VHI; 1 S : 5 km of Sosopol, 21.VIII; 1 o : 22.Vni. Tricimba albiseta Dely-Draskovlts, 1983 - 1 6 : Lozen, 800 m, 19.VIII. This species was described recently. Most of the Paratypes came from Hungary, just one from Yugoslavia and another from Bulgaria. Tricimba humeralis (Loew, 1858) - 1 9 : 5 km of Sosopol, 20.VHI. Tricimba lineella (Fallén, 1820) - 1 S : Lozen, 800 m, 19.Vin; 1 S : Melnik, ll.VTII; 1 S: Vitosha Mt., 1800 m, 3.Vm. Tricimba sp. - 1 â : Vitosha Mt., 1000 m, 18. Vin.
