temple rounded. Black; head, pronotum, mesonotum, scutellum and legs reddish yellow. Colour of body variable. - Distribution: One of the most frequent to common Aleiodes species in the Palaearctic Region. In Hungary rather common. Localities - Most of the localities are restricted to the zoogeographical subdistricts of Eupannonicum l/l + and Pilisicum II/1 + in Hungary. In the Carpathian Basin the localities are distributed among the subdistricts as follows: 1/1: 38 (localities), 1/2: 1, 11/1: 24, II/2: 4, III/l: 2, HI/2: 2, HI/3: 2, III/4: 2, III/5: 1, IV: 1, V/l: 1, V/2: 1, V/3: 2, VI/l: 1, VI/2: 4 and VI/3: 1. - IV-X. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) carbonarius Giraud, 1857 - Mesopleuron punctate, sternaulix rugoserugulose. Tergites 1-2 entirely, tergite 3 almost entirely and longitudinally rugose. Tergite 3 shorter than tergite 2. Mesonotum dull. R approaching tip of wing. Body together with legs black. - Distribution: In Europe its easternmost occurrence falls in Hungary and Transylvania (Romania). Localities - 11/1:1 6: Budapest, Svábhegy. 1 S : Csákvár, Hajduvágás. 1 S: Pilisszentlélek. - III/3: 1 é : Dicsöszentmárton (= Ttrnaveni, Transylvania). - V/l: 1 S : Kőszeg, Velem. - V-VI. Aleiodes (A.) circumscriptus (Nees, 1834) - Head in dorsal view transverse, 1.8-2 times broader than long. Cu2 long, r2 1.8-2 times longer than cuqul. Second tergite never transverse, either quadrate or somewhat longer than wide at hind. First tergite at most as long as wide at hind, usually somewhat shorter. Ground colour of body yellow to reddish yellow with a highly variable brownish to black pattern. - Distribution: Frequent to common in the Palaearctic Region as well as in Hungary. Localities - In the districts 1/1 (Eupannonicum) and II/1-2 (Matricum) frequent to common, in further districts less so (1 to 8 localities), supposedly, owing to lower collecting activity in these districts. - III-X, frequent from May to September. Aleiodes (A.) coxator (Telenga, 1941) - Radial cell somewhat short, radial vein only approaching tip of wing. First tergite distinctly broadening posteriorly, its hind width one-quarter greater than its length. Second tergite only somewhat longer than third tergite. Malar space longer than basal width of mandible. Brownish yellow; sometimes head above, mesopleuron and propodeum with black(ish) pattern. - Distribution: Described from Azerbaidzhan (USSR), recently discovered in Hungary as well as in Greece. New to the fauna of Hungary. Locality - 1/1: 1 S : Peszér (= Kunpeszér). Aleiodes (A.) crassipes (Thomson, 1891) - Head in dorsal view somewhat less transverse, 1.7(-1.8) times broader than long. First tergite long, one-third to one-fourth longer than wide at hind, its two sides less broadening posteriorly. Second tergite somewhat longer than wide at hind. Body reddish yellow with very variable black(ish) pattern. - Distribution: Sweden and Finland, recently found in Hungary and in Transylvania. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities - I/l: 1 6 : Szabadszállás, swept in Artemisio-Festucetum pseudovinae. 1 : Szigetszentmiklós. - II/l: 1 ó' : Csákvár, Hosszú-hegy. 1 6 : Keszthely. - II/2: 1 6 : Nógrádszakái. - III/2: 1 6 : Radnai-havasok (Mtii Rodnei, Transylvania). - V-VIII, X. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) cruentus (Nees, 1834) - Every claw below pectinate. Eye in dorsal view almost twice longer than temple, latter more constricted. Ocelli large. Radial vein only approaching tip of wing. - Distribution: Palaearctic Region, eastwards as far as Mongolia. In Hungary rather frequent. Localities - I/l: 1 j + 2 í : Borosjenő (= Ineu, Transylvania). 1 S : Budapest, Rákos. 1 £ : Orszentmiklós. - 1/2: 1 o : Pápa. 1 S : Tanakajd. - U/1: 1 j + 2 í: Nagykovácsi, Hársbokorhegy. 1 o_ : Pilisszentkereszt, Dobogókő. - III/l: 1 $ : Borosznó (= BruSno, Slovakia). - III/2: 1 o_ : Tusnád (= Tusnád, Transylvania). - III/4: 1 ë : Rév (= Vadul Crisului, Transylvania). - VI/2: 1 o. : Fonyód. - VI/3: 2 o_ : Krapina (Croatia). - VI-VIII. Aleiodes (Neorhogas) dimidiatus (Spinola, 1808) - Mesopleuron rather strongly and densely punctate, sternaulix widely rugose. Eye longer than temple, latter more or less rounded. Radial vein ending before apex of wing. Ground colour of body rusty red with variable blackish pattern.Distribution: frequent to common in the entire Palaearctic Region. In Hungary frequent, the males The Roman/Arabic numerals refer to the zoogeographical districts and subdistricts of the fauna territory of the Carpathian Basin comprising the countries Hungary, and parts of Czechoslovakia, the USSR, Romania, Yugoslavia and Austria (MÓCZÁR et al. 1972).
