Figs 72-73. Kilimabates polygonatus sp.n. - 72: dorsal side, 73: ventral side Legs: All legs tridactylous. Tarsus of leg I with some transversal lines, tibia and genu without strong spiniform seta. Tibia with dorsal, genu with ventral and dorsal spur (Fig. 76). Dorsal setae of femur I very strong. Femur of leg IV with wide ventral crest (Fig. 77). Material examined: Holotypus: Ei-Y.No. 200; 32 paratypes from the same sample; 3 paratypes: E-Y. No. 1310. Holotypus and 17 paratypes: TMP; 16 paratypes (1083-PO-84): HNHM; 2 paratypes: MHNG. Remarks: The placing of the new species is rather problematic, but on the ground of its reduced custodium, the wide genal teeth an the shape of tectum indicate a relationship with the genus Kilimabates Mahunka, 1984. It is distinguished from all related taxa by the sculpture of the body. Kilimabates translamellatus sp.n. Measurements:- Length: 292-328 um, width: 176-212 urn. Dorsal side (Fig. 78): Rostrum rounded, with two slight hollows laterally (Fig. 81). Lamellae wide, their cuspis rounded, without apex, translamella present. Lamellar setae arising on dorsal surface of lamellar apex. Tectum very wide, with 3-4 teeth, rostral setae arising on their surface ( ! ). Genal teeth (Fig. 80) short, but wide. Rostral setae filiform, lamellar and interlamellar setae pointed at tip. Sensillus with long, curved peduncle and clavate head. Pteromorphae longueshaped, its surface with radiate ornamentation. Notogaster bearing ten pairs of short, but wellvisible notogastral setae and four pairs of round area porosae.
