Stilicopsis buluensis sp. n. This species is about the same size as S ,scltulus sp. n. but the segments of the antennae are longer, the puncturatlon of the elytra Is a little finer, but the difference in the structure of the aedeagus Is the most reliable distinction (fig. 7). - Reddish-yellow, elytra with a pattern of black markings, and tergites five and six also darker. Head as long as broad, finely umbilicatepunctate, eyes large, convex, their longitudinal diameter equal to the length of the temples. Antennae with all segments longer than broad from the fourth segment gradually becomming shorter, last segment longer than the penultimate. Pronotum a little longer than broad, sculpture as that of the head, with lateral bristles from three blunt crenulatlons at anterior corners. Elytra longer than broad (3.5:3.0), densely and moderately finely punctured, with short pubescence and lateral bristles. Abdomen finely punctured and pubescent, seventh sternite of male deeply triangularly emarginate. - Length 4.5 mm. Holotype cf, Garaina, Bulu Valley, 1.viii. 1970 (R.HORNABROOK). Stilicopsis pellucidus sp. n. This species differs from all other Papua New Guinea Stilicopsis by the reticulation of the head and pronotum, which is so weak as to be hardly discernable. - Pale yellow. Head a little longer than broad, shining, with umbllicate-reticulation hardly visible. Eyes large, convex, their longitudinal diameter equal to the length of the temples which are almost straight and converge strongly to the neck. Antennae with all segments longer than broad, the last longer than the penultimate. Pronotum a little longer than broad, shining, umbilicate reticulation hardly visible, with a narrow median furrow. Elytra longer than broad (4:3) finely and densely punctured and with short pubescence, parallel-sided. Abdomen very finely punctured and pubescent, parallel-sided. Seventh ventral segment of male broadly and deeply excised. Aedeagus fig. 8. - Length 5.5 mm Holotype cf unique, Garaina, Bulu Valley, 1.viii. 1970 (R.HORNABROOK). Stilicopsis hornabrooki sp. n. This species is about the same size as S . repans sp. n. but it is more slender in all respects, the antennae are also longer with the last few segments not transverse as in rep ans . The pronotum Is also differently shaped, having a shallow lateral slnuatlon. - Reddish-yellow. Head a little broader than long, distinctly umbllicate-reticulate, eyes convex, their longitudinal diameter a little shorter than the length of the temples which bear short bristles. Antennae with segment two shorter than the first and third, segments four to ten longer than broad but each shorter than the previous, last segment longer than the penultimate. Pronotum as long as broad, reticulation similar to that of the head, laterally shallowly sinuate, with outstanding bristles. Elytra longer than broad (2.5:2.0), parallel-sided, finely and densely punctured with fine short pubescence and rather strong lateral bristles of about five or six. Abdomen finely and weakly punctured and setose, paratergites with bristles, - Length 4 mm. Holotype o unique, Madang, 22.xll.1969 at light (R.HORNABROOK). Stilicopsis scitulus sp. n. This species is similar to S.cheesmani Cam., but differs by having shorter antennae with all segments shorter in proportion to their length, with the two penultimate broader than long. The pronotum is also shorter and the eyes a little smaller. The aedeagus differs (fig. 9). - Yellow, head and pronotum darker, all with markings of black which varies especially so in the pattern on the elytra; abdomen darker with a narrow lateral blackish border on all tergites. Head broader than long (3.0:2.5), densely umbilicate-punctate; eyes convex, their longitudinal diameter almost twice the length of the temples which converge towards the neck; antennae with third segment a little longer than the second, both shorter than the first, segment four equal to the second, segments five to eight of about equal length, segments nine and ten slightly transverse, last bulbous, longer than the penultimate. Pronotum a little longer than broad, densely umbilicate-punctate, slightly narrowing to the posterior margin, anterior margin more strongly converging; narrower than head and elytra. Elytra longer than broad (4:3), moderately shining, strongly and densely punctured, with short yellow setae, almost parallel-sided. Abdomen moderately shining, finely but not densely
