Head often rather densely but not very deeply punctured. Pronotum with scattered, large and shallow, at times with more dense and deep punctures. Longitudinal furrow of pronotum only part­ly and not completely developed, or hardly visible. Mesonotum sometimes also with a shallow deepening or only trace of a furrow. Lateral angles of propodeum with acute or sometimes without (fig. 4) spines. Abdominal tergite 2 smooth, distinctly and not densely (fig, 5) or only very finely punctured. 3 species are known from the Mediterranean region and from Oriental territory, only 1 from the latter. This species differs from the two other species chiefly in the following characters. Lateral spines of propodeum stout (fig. 4). Head brown, pronotum yellowish brown, mesonotum, as well as abdominal segments 3-6 dark brownish, propodeum, basis of abdominal segment 2 black. Head and pronotum densely, pronotum more deeply punctured with spaces shagreened, base of pronotal disc with a short impression proximally, similar to beginning of a longitudinal furrow. Mesonotum and scutellum not shining, finely shagreened (fig. 4). Basis of tergite 2 narrowly alutaceous, oth­erwise smooth, shining, with scattered but distinct punctures (fig. 5), the last one-third part also without punctures. 3.5 mm. I-III (Acta zool.hung. 1_6, 1970a, 1970b and I.e. 17, 1971).
