Elytra strongly convex, elliptic, 1.41 times as wide as pronotum, 1.66 times as long as wide, widest in the middle; shoulders fairly rounded. Striae deep, with sparse strong punctures, becoming shallower towards apex; striae 1-2 and 3-4. joining with each other near basal border, striae 6 and 8 disappearing before shoulders; scutellar striole rather long. Intervals convex, apical carina hardly prominent, interval 3 with 3 small setiferous pores adjoining stria 3, first pore situated near basal border; scutellar pores present. Basal border almost straight, forming with lateral one very obtuse angle. Microsculpture very faint, forming transverse meshes, which are longer and narrower then on head and pronotum. Lateral sides of prosternum, mesosternum and metasternum and segments 1-2 of abdomen with sparse but coarse punctures; metaepisterna 1.6 times as long as wide. Hind coxae unisetose, sternites 3-5 with 2 setae on each side, anal sternite of male with 2 setae on hind margin. Legs long and slender, fore tibiae of male feebly dilated, there segments 2-3 twice as long as wide. Aedeagus (Fig. 4-6) with sagittal aileron, long, uniformly curved, at apex dilated, flattened and straightly cut. Length 10.0 mm. Width 3.6 mm. Holotype, <?: China, Prov.
