Apanteles sesostris Nixon, 1976 - Known only on the basis of the male sex. Propodeum and first tergite rugose. Mesonotum densely punctate, dl short, half as long as d2. Legs blackish. - Distribution: Great Britain, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: - 1 cf: Budapest, Sashegy. 1 cf: Csákvár, park. 2 cf: Kőszeg, Szabó-hegy. 1 cf: Nagykovácsi, Remete-hegy, swept in an Orno-Quercetum. 1 cT: Ócsa, 1 cf: Őmassa, Lonci-rét. 1 cf: Pákozd, Bella-völgy. 1 cf: Pilisszántó. - V-Vm. Apanteles sophrosine Nixon, 1976 - Eye in lateral view relatively large, distinctly twice wider than width of temple. Inner margin of eyes parallel-subparallel. Mesonotum finely to very finely punctate. First tergite 1.3-1.4 times longer than broad, widest at its middle. Ovipositor sheath in lateral view straight and as long as hind tibia. Distribution: Italy and Bulgaria. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: 1 d: Budapest, Kissvábhegy. 1 o: Budapest, Sashegy. 1 $: Nagyvázsony. 1 g: Olaszfalu, Tobán-hegy. 1 g: Újszentmargita. - IV, Vl-VIH. Apanteles splendidus Papp, 1974 - Propodeum rugose, along hind margin with rugae. Inner margin of eyes converging towards oral part. First tergite 1.2-1.3 times as long as greatest width before its hind end. Alar venation and colour of body very similar to that of A. butalidis. - Distribution: Known only from Hungary. Locality: - 1 g (holotype): Budapest, Kistétény. - VI. Apanteles szabói Papp, 1972 - Within the butalidi s-group distinct by its long glossa which is about as long as basitarsus of fore leg. Head in frontal view relatively elongated, i.e. as broad between eyes as high medially. Ocelli small, forming a low triangle, i.e. hind imaginary tangent to anterior ocellus transecting hind pair of ocelli. Inner margin of eyes converging towards oral part. Penultimate joint of antenna 1.2-1.4 times longer than broad. First tergite narrowing posteriorly. Tegula yellow. - Distribution: described from Hungary. Recently listed in several European countries: France, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria. Localities: - In the original description 14 localities were reported. New localities: 1 cf: Sukoró. 1 cf: Tihany. - IV-IX. Apanteles urgo Nixon, 1965 - Propodeum smooth, shiny. Inner margin of eyes strongly con­verging towards oral part. Ovipositor sheath somewhat thickened and in lateral view as long as hind tibia. Second tergite narrow and less pointed laterally. Coxae and trochanters yellow to rusty brown, never black. - Distribution: Described from Crete (Greece), up to now known from Azerbaidzhan (USSR) and Mongolia. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: - 1 2.: Csepel. 1 0.: Dömsöd, Apajpuszta, swept from Aster sp. 3 Ç: Kéthalom, singled from Daucus carota. 1 Ç: Szigetszentmiklós. - Vlll-tX. The VlPIO-group Apanteles vipio , Reinhard, 1880 - Wings brownish fumous, stigma and venation blackish brown. Body black, shiny to polished. Two spurs of hind tibia unequal, inner spur three-fourths to four-fifths as long as, outer spur at most half as long as hind basitarsus. First tergite 2.5 times longer than broad at hind, parallel-sided and strongly narrowing at its posterior third. Stigma issuing radial vein conspicuously distally, rl and cuqul forming a strongly arched vein. - Distribution: sporadically in Europe, a rare species. New to the fauna of Hungary. In the Carpathian Basin collected (1 d) at Deliblát in northern Yugoslavia. Locality: - 1 j + 1 d: Kunmadaras: Döghalom. - VI and IX.
