Nervellus of hind wing nearly straight. Hind femur black. Tarsi 1-2 straw yellow. Stigma opaque yellow. Originally described as a variety of A. xanthostigma (Haliday) from France. - Distribution: So far listed in Italy, Hungary, Romania and the USSR (European part, Georgia, Azerbaidzhan). Third tergite only 1.1-1.2 times longer than second tergite, latter smooth, exceptionally alutaceous. First tergite widening posteriorly, 1.1-1.2 times as long as wide at hind. Disc of mesonotum dull, with dense and almost even punctation, interspaces shorter than diameter of punctures notaulix faintly indicated by crowded punctation. Propodeum distinctly carinated. Hind femur dark. Stigma brown with a faint to indistinct basal pale spot. - Distribution: North Italy, Israel. New to the fauna of Hungary. Stigma pale brown. - Distribution: England, Hungary. A rare species. Locality: - 1 $: Ugod, Somberek. The BUTALIDIS-group Apanteles biroicus Papp, 1973 - Propodeum smooth to polished, around lunule and at hind corner rugulose. Inner margin of eyes parallel. Body rather gracile. Ovipositor sheath in lateral view half as long as hind tibia. First tergite anteriorly parallel-sided, posteriorly narrowing. Metacarp shorter than stigma, latter light brown. - Distribution: so far known only from Hungary and Transylvania (Romania).
