Contributions to the Braconid fauna of Hungary IV. Microgastrinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) By J. PAPP (Received November 8, 1982) Abstract: Forty-three Apanteles Förster species are recorded from Hungary and the adjacent countries within the Carpathian Basin. The majority of the species are new to the fauna of Hungary or to the Carpathian Basin. Faunistical and taxonomical characterization of the species are given. The representatives of the following 13 species-groups of Apanteles are discussed: longipalpis, ultor, butalidis, vipio-. laspey- resiella-, merula-, falcatus-, validus-, carbonarius-, circumscriptus-, fraternus-, pallipes- and parasitellae-group. New synonymy: A. naso Mars hall, 1885 = A. coresia Nixon, 1973, syn.n. New host data of Apanteles arisba Nixon, A. bicolor (Nees), A. elpis Nixon, A. laetus Marshall, A. nanus Reinhard, A. parasitellae (Bouché), A. rimulosus Niezabitowski and A. viminetorum (Wesmael) are detailed. The species-assemblage of the species-groups within the genus Apanteles Förster, disclosed in part II and the present (IV) part of the contributions, are enumerated alphabetically. In the first part (I) of my contribution (PAPP 1979) I gave an enumeration of the collectors' name excelling in the gathering and accumulating of the Braconid material and considerably promoting the present series of summarization. Below I complete the register of the names not mentioned in the first part: (Mrs.) K.BALÁZS, (Mrs.) BEREZNAI, J. BODOR, E. BOKOR, K. FEKETE, L. GAMMEL, P. GYULAI, K. HORSTMANN, P. LIPTHAY, J.LUKAS, V. MARTINOVICH, L.MÉHELY, (Mrs.) MOLNÁR, I. NAGY, K.NAGY (= Q. Argaman), L. PODLUSÁNY, L. POLGÁR, G. REICHART, I. SEPRŐS, L.S7ALAY. P. SZONTAGH, (Mrs.) TISZA and A. VOJNITS. APANTELES Förster, 1862 Below the following specie s-groups with their species-assemblage are enumerated in the same order as it was arranged in my survey of the European Apanteles Förster species (PAPP 1981 a, 1982, 1983): longipalpis-, ultor-, butalidis-, vipio, laspeyresiella-, merula-, falcatus-, validus-, carbonarius-, circumscriptus-, fraternus-, pallipes- and parasitellae-group. The LONGIPALPIS-group Apanteles longipalpis Reinhard, 1880 (= tadzhicus Telenga, 1949, partim: j, nec cf). - Maxillary palp long, in lateral view as long as height of head.
