Ventral side (Fig. 8): Transversal apodemes well developed. Epimeral setae minute. Six pairs of short, thin genital and one pair of aggenital setae. Two pairs of anal and two pairs of adanal setae present. Both adanal pairs in postanal position. Material examined: Holotypus (817-HO­1983): Afr. 311. Madagascar, Ranomafana, E from Fianarautsaa, soil sample from litter of tropical rain forest. 24-26.September, 1979., leg. D. BALÁZS. Holotypus deposited in the Zoological Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Remarks: The new species stands very near to Zetorchestes saltator Oudemans, 1917. They may be distinghished from each other by the following characters: saltator Oudms. 1917 1. Shoulder absent. 2. Dorsosejugal suture straight, without line of tubercles. 3. Median pori absent. 4. Length: 420 urn, width: 310 urn. phylliferus sp.n. 1. Shoulder present. 2. Dorsosejugal suture convex with a line of tubercles. 3. Median pori present. 4. Length: 563 urn, width: 413 urn.
