Figs 1-3. Pronotum and head. - 1 = Nebria subaerea Breit. - 2 = Nebria schrencki Gebl. - 3 = Nebria kaszabi sp.n. scheme of chaetotaxy of sternitea 3-5: 1+1, 2+2, 2+2; base of hind coxae unisetose; anal sternite in male with two setae on hind margin. Legs long and slender, in male first three* segments of fore tarsi dilated, them segments 2-3 longer than wide; segment 4 of hind tarsi produced beneath at apex. Microsculpture indistinct (under magnification x 120) on disc of head, near eyes and on vertex extraordinarily weak, consisting of short transverse meshes, on pronotum and elytra very weak, forming of short transverse meshes, isodiametric on scutellum. Aedeagus (figs. 5, 6) well chitinized, slender and moderately curved, with short and narrow apical part. Length: 8.1 mm, width: 3.2 mm. The new species is nearest to Nebria schrencki Gebl., but clearly differs by its narrow elytra with strong and punctate striae (in N. schrencki Gebl. striae shallow and smooth), more narrow pronotum (cf. figs. 2 and 3), first antennái segment longer and thinner, bisetose (cf. figs. 12 and 13), aedeagus more slender, with small and narrow apical part (cf. figs. 4, 7, 15, 16 and 5, 6, 17), left style smaller and more strongly rounded at apex (cf. figs. 9 and 11). From Nebria subaerea Breit it differs by the form of its pronptum, first antennái segment and apical part of aedeagus (cf. figs. 1, 14, 18). Holotype: 5, with labels "Altai", "coll. Reitter" deposited in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest.
