FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK XLII (XXXIV) 2 1981 p. 259-262 A check-list of Symphyta from the Carpathian Basin (Hymenoptera). II. By L. ZOMBORI (Received June 27, 1981) Abstract. - The second contribution lists a total of 207 Symphyta species found In the Carpathian Basin. The species belong to the subfamilies Selandrlinae, Dolerlnae and Blennocampinae of the family Tenthredinidae. In the preliminary works of writing the sawfly fauna of Hungary, It is indispensable to elaborate not only the material of the largest national collection of sawflies, housed in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, but also those preserved in smaller local museums and institutes of our country. This work has been going on over a number of years and so far produced several interesting findings including some novelties. The present contribution follows the method adopted in my previous paper (ZOMBORI 1974), thus I again made good use of several papers published by non-Hungarian authors (BOKOTEY 1962, GREGOR & BATA 1942, SCOBIOLA-PALADE 1968, 1981 and ERMOLENKO 1975). Species marked by a cross, besides being a member of the fauna of the Carpathian Baain, also occurs in Hungary. The generic namea follow a systematic, while the specific names, under each genus, a mere alphabetical order. 12.
