Ulti­mate tergite broad, with a relatively large dorso-lateral keels. Penultimate sternite truncate at posterior margin. Forceps (Fig.l) asymmetrical; very strong trigonal and broad basally, cylindri­cal and curved apically. Genitalia (Fig. 2) very characteristic; central parameral plate narrow, median incision of anterior margin very deep, paramere V-shaped; genital lobes without virgae, but armed with chitinous spiral apically. External paramere broaded at basal third, and outer margin with process apically; apex of external paramere bidentate. Length of body with forceps: 12-14 mm. Female unknown. Holotype male: New Guinea, Papua, Distr. Wau, Nami Creak, 22.8.1968, legit: Dr. J. Ba­logh, gen.prep. No. 160, det. Dr. H. Steinmann. - Paratype male: ditto, gen.prep. No. 245, det. Dr. H. Steinmann. - Deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Gonolabis gilesi sp.n. Male reddish-black; head black, shining, antennae brown, legs yellow. Head longer than broad, tumid, depressed frontally; postfrontal sutures and coronal suture not visibly. Antennae 14-jointed; first joint short, shorter than eyes, and shorter than distance between antennái bases. Pronotum more or less transverse; lateral margins visibly concave posteriorly; dark brownish black with light brown stripe laterally. Tegmina and wings totaly absent. Mesonotum broad, meta­notum transverse, normal. Abdomen of Gonolabls-type, expanded to last tergite; abdominal
