Johnsen, 1 immature female. Head long, almost parallel-sided, but lateral margins slightly curved; first antennái joint shorter than distance between antennái bases. Legs relatively short, femora without longitudinal ridges, each tarsus with an apical arolium between tarsal claws. General colour brownish vellow. Tegmina unicolourous . Wingscales entirely chrome-yellow. Forceps of male similar to fuscata fuscata . Genitalia (Fig. 3) specific; paramere oval, large; median incision of anterior margin not very deep, paramere not V-shaped. Genital lobes well marked, elongate, with filiform figurations. External parameres curved; apices acute. Material examined: Sete. Lagoas, Reinhardt, 2 females. Distribution: Southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. Head and pronotum transverse, its lateral margins rounded, eyes small. Mesonotum with arcuate carina. Abdomen broad, almost cylindrical, with puncturation relatively strong and close. Ultimate tergite transverse, depressed medially towards posterior margin. Male forceps asymmetrical, with the right arm curved in lateral view and having a strong sub-basal external marginal tooth or process directed more or less upwards. Material examined: S. Tegmina of male dark brown with an ill-defined lateral and suturai yellowish stripe; wings yellow, abdomen blackish. Abdomen cylindrical, a little expanded to ultimate tergite. Forceps subcontiguous proximally, thence slightly curved apically. Genitalia (Fig. 4) broad; paramere large, genital lobes broad, with well-developed virgae. Abdomen cylindrical, more or less parallel-sided. Ultimate tergite strongly punctured, almost rugose, with a lateral longitudinal ridge on each side. Forceps of male contiguous for a short distance basally, inner distal angle of basal part dentate. Genitalia (Fig. 5) broad and long; paramere trigonal; median Incision between external parameres not deep; genital lobes relatively short, broad, virga twice as long as genital lobe.
