A simple, cheap and effectual way of the construction of the biocenometer is described and illustrated. A sprayer, with petro motor (type Maruyama MD-140) has been'transformed into a sucking apparate. The method, wich proved to be good, was the double suction. The fitomass was cut and removed between the two suctions. The necessity ot the second suction is verified by the efficiency of the first one that is characteristic for different manners of life. The efficiency of the first suction didn't depend on the quantity of the plant biomass, which changed between 103 and 450 gram per square meter in Potentillo Festucetum pseudovinae and Molinio Salicetum rosmarlnifoliae plant associations.
