Prodorsum (Fig. 1): Rostrum entire and broadly rounded. Rostral setae well devel­oped, slightly curved, rough and inserted near lateral margin well back from rostral apex. Lamellae nearly of the same breadth throughout its length, extending forward and inward oyer prodorsal surface and forming blunt cusps. Translamella ribbon-shaped and slightly thinner than lamella. Lamellar setae considerably longer than rostral ones, barbed, inserted on apex of lamellar cusp and reaching far beyond tip of rostrum. Interlamellar setae similar­ly barbed and as long as lamellar ones. Sensillus with a short neck and a smooth, clavate head. Notogaster: Broadly elliptical, anterior border strongly convex. Humeral projection slightly developed, hardly projecting beyond the outline of notogaster. 14 pairs of smooth, simple notogastral hairs present. Area porosa Aa usually circular and distinctly smaller than remainder. Area porosáé Aj, A2 and Ag elongated, A^ being the largest and situated nearer to A than to Aa. Lyrifissure im conspicuous and obliquely situated.
