Cerodontha (Poemyza) pappi sp.n. (Fig. 1) Orbits not projecting above eye in profile 2 ors and 2 ori. Jowls 1/3 height of eye. Third antennái segment with pubescence shorter that base of arista. 1+3 dc, two first pairs are very short. Last section of ^>2+4 length of penultimate. Colour: frons and lunula brownish, orbits yellow. Jowls brownish yellow. Third antennái segment black. Mesonotum black, mat, mesopleura with narrow yellow upper margin. Legs black, femora in lower 1/31/5 yellow. Abdomen black. Squamae yellow, margin and fringe dark. Genitalia: Aedoeagus with long distal tubules, S-shaped, recurved to right and diverging distally. The lower processes of mesophallus are very short. Wing length: 2 mm. Host unknown. Holotype: É, Kőszeg, 7. VII. 1939 (Visnya). This species is closely related to spenceri and tschirnhausi. Fig. 1. Lunula higher than its width at base of antenna. First ors directed inwards, second recline, 2 ori, third antennái segment round. Jowls about one-third of eye height. Presutural dc absent. About 6 irregular rows of aer. Colour: frons, lunula and third antennái segment black. Orbits black, shiny, its inner margin with ocellar triangle yellowish. Abdomen black. Mesonotum black. Legs black; femora in distal 2/5 yellow. Squamae and fringe blackish. Genitalia: Anal hook absent. Ejaculatory apodeme 1. 5 times longer than broad. Hypophallus and mesophallus parallel. Mesophallus with very short processes at base. Distiphallus recurved distally. Wing length: 1. 7 mm.
