Chaetotaxy and shape of pertiremal shield typical of Zercon C.L.Koch, 1836. Anterior margin of ventro-anal shield with four setae. Adgenital shields are present. Systematic position: This species rather resembles Zercon encarpatus Athias-Henriot, 1961 from which it differs by the following features: Zercon salebrosus sp. n. 1. Pore Po3 on line connecting setae Z415. 2. Seta 12 reaching as fas as half the distance to I 3. 3. Dorsal cavities elongated, well sclerotized with axes parallel to body axis.
