Opius (Cryptonastes) gracilis var. minor (Fischer, 1957) - Degache, 16 April 1977, No. 122, 1 6. - A Palaearctic species, frequent in Europe. New to the fauna of Tunisia. Opius (Nosopoea) maculipes Wesmael, 1835 - Tozeur, 16 April 1977, No. 117, 1 Q_. ­Widely distributed and frequent in the western half of Europe, reported from Turkmenia. New to the fauna of Tunisia. Hairs of mesonotum restricted to its fore third; I consider this feature as an ex­ceptional one. Usually entire mesonotum densely covered with hairs. In all other respects it agrees with the Hungarian representatives. Opius (Opiothorax) mirabili s Fischer, 1958 - Boughrara, 9 April 1977, No. 94, 1 o_. ­Distributed in West and Central Europe. New to the fauna of Tunisia. r2 only one-quarter longer than cuqul, radial vein approaching tip of wing. Antenna with 20 joints. First three segments of abdomen reddish yellow, first tergite somewhat dark­ening. Opius (Apod esmia) nitidulator (Nees, 1834) - Tozeur, 16 April 1977, No. 117, 1 o_. ­Widely distributed in the West Palaearctic and Nearctic Region. Up to now in North Africa taken in Libya. New to the fauna of Tunisia. Opius (Gastrosema) suscitatus sp. n. 8 (Figs. 22-24) i. Body 1.8 mm long. Head in dorsal view transverse, twice broader than long, behind eyes rounded. Head polished. Temple margined, occiput not margined. Face twice wider than high. Clypeus four times wider than high. Distance between two tentorial pits one­third greater than distance between a tentorial pit and lowest point of eye. Mouth open. Man­dible gradually broadening basally, without subtooth at its base. Temple below slightly wider than width of eye (in lateral view, Fig. 22). Eye less than twice as high as wide (20:12, xlOO). Ocelli small, distance between fore and a hind ocellus 2. 5 times greater than diameter of an ocellus, distance between two hind ocelli 3. 5 times greater than diameter of an ocellus, POL:OOL as 8:10 (xlOO). Antenna longer than body, with 21 joints. First flagellar joint al­most five times as long as broad, further joints gradually shortening so that penultimate joint almost thrice as long as broad. Thorax in lateral view one-sixth longer than high. Pro-, mesonotum, scutellum, mesopleuron polished. Sternaulus distinct and crenulo-rugose. Mesonotum without dimple before prescutellar furrow. Propodeum uneven to smooth, shiny. Hind femur 4. 5 times as long as broad. Hind tarsus somewhat longer than hind tibia. Fore wing slightly longer than body. Stigma (Fig. 23) six times as long as wide. Radial vein approaching tip of wing, rl short, r2 twice as long as cuqul (23:12, xlOO), r3 somewhat more than twice as long as r2 (51:23, xlOO). Cu2 distaUy narrowing, n. rec. post­furcal, only slightly shorter than d; n. par. originating from lower-outer side of B. Abdomen one-fifth longer than thorax. First tergite (Fig. 24) as long as wide at hind, distinctly broadening posteriorly, its hind width twice greater than basal one. Surface of first tergite rugose, basally rugulose to uneven, its two keels short. Lateral surface of tergites 2-3 rugulo-subrugulose, medially uneven. Further tergites polished. Body black. Face, cheek and low part of temple brown. Clypeus, labrum, mandible brownish yellow, apex of mandible blackish. Palps yellow. Tegula blackish brown. Legs vivid
