Lamellobates hauseri aegypticus ssp. n. Dimensions: Length: 278-280 u, width: 184-188 u. Dorsal side: (Fig. 1) Rostrum tripartite, median tooth rounded, lateral ones pointed. A clear spot present just behind median rostral tooth. Rostral hair long, pectinate. Lamellar (Fig. 2) outer cuspis long (about half length of lamellar hair), pointed; inner cuspis rounded. Lamellar hair thick, slightly barbed, running parallel to outer lamellar cuspis and as long as rostral one. Interlamellar hair extremely long, tapering and strongly roughened. Sensillus (Fig. 3) spatulate, with a short stalk and rounded tip. Nine pairs of simple notogastral hairs present. Ventral side: Epimeral region very similar to that characteristic of the genus. Material examined: Holotypus (406-HO-78), locality: 76/3; 12 ex. paratypes: from the same locality as holotype. Holotype and seven paratypes are deposited in Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Five paratypes in the author' s collection. Remarks: The new subspecies can be easily separated from its nominate species by its slightly barbed lamellar hair (it is densely barbed in L. hauseri Mah. , 1977), the pointed outer lamellar cuspis and the rounded tip of sensillus (with flat surface in L. hauseri ).
