BAYOUMI (Received April 10, 1979) Abstract: Egyptian soil samples originating from Alexandria and different parts of the Nile Delta yielded 17 Oribatid species, of which 6 are new to the Egyptian fauna and one subspecies ( Lamellobates hauseri aegypticus ssp.n. ) new to science. MAHUNKA, Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, for his valuable comments.
