Contributions, mainly on the taxonomy of this important .group of mites, have been made by TRAGARDH. POPP, PIFFL, ABD EL-HAMID,' ELBADRY and NASR, BAYOUMI and MAHUNKA, BAYOUMI and others. The present contribution deals with the material collected in 1976 by the author and Mr. M.
