Opius (Phaedrotoma) diversiformis Fischer, 1960 Extremely similar to O. exiguus Wesm. First tergite widening behind and rugose. O. exiguus : first tergite moderately widening behind, smooth to uneven or, at most, rugulose. Head black, temple may blackish brown. According to FISCHER (1973) face, margin of eye and temple red. - Distribution: hitherto known only from Vienna, Austria. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: Budapest, Rákospalota, 1 p. Füz. , 21: 388 (in Hungarian) and 400 (in German), 6^. Opius diversus: Fischer, 1960, Ann. Zool. (Warszawa), 19: 102, Opius diversus as synonym of O. exiguus Wesmael, 1835: Fischer, 1971, Index of World Opiinae, p. 61. A thorough examination of the holotype of O. diversus Szépl. (housed in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Hym. Typ. No. 1788) convinced me that it is not identical with O. exiguus, consequently, I re-establish this name, O. diversus, undeniably, is very similar both to O. exiguus and to O. diversiformis , the differences of the three species are tabulated below: O. diversus Szépl. First tergite at most as long as wide behind; its hind width twice greater than fore one. Segments 1-3 (or further ones too) rusty or brown. Head frequently (and sometimes abdomen tod) rusty. Radial vein only approaches tip of wing. O. diversiformis Fi. 1. First tergite as long as or slightly longer than wide behind; its hind width 1.7- 1.8 times greater than fore one. 2. Tergite (s)' 2/-3/ brown or rusty, otherwise abdomen black. Usually only margin of eye rusty, otherwise head ' black. 3. Radial vein reaches tip of wing. O. exiguus Wcsm . 1. First tergite 1.3-1.5 as long as wide behind; its hind width at most 1. 5 times greater than fore one. 2. Abdomen usually entirely black, tergite (s) 2/-3/ sometimes brown or rusty. 3. Radial vein approaches tip of wing. Distribution: certainly distributed in Europe, however, a confirmation of this area is required in the future. Localities: Borosbenedek (= Benic, Transylvania), 1 p. Budapest, Rákos, 1 (j>. Budapest, Sashegy, 1 <j>. Csobánka, Oszoly, 3 CJ> swept in Mahalebeto-Quercetum. Nagyvisnyó, Nagyrét, 1 (j>. Opius (Gastrosema) docilis Haliday, 1837 Highly reminds of O. (Lissosema) parvungula Thorns. , their specific differences see at O. parvungula . Antenna 31 jointed, third joint 2. 7 times longer than broad (8:3 in dorsal view, x63). Head behind eyes constricted. Propodeum and first tergite evenly rugose. Second tergite smooth except rugulose-uneven surface at its fore middle. Stigma short and wide, 3.3 times longer than wide (37:11, x63). r2 1.7 times as long as cuqul (27:16,x63). Three-fourths of pronotum, upper lump of mesopleura and second tergite vivid rusty, legs yellow. Body 2. 6 mm long. - Distribution: sporadically reported from West and Central Europe. New to the fauna of Hungary. Localities: Bártfa (=Bardejov, Slovakia), Csergő Mts., Lamavisko, 1 g>. Bugac, 1 <£. Bükk Mts. , Leányvölgy (Nagyvisnyó), 1 o_. Leányfalu, 1 o^. Opius (Opiothorax) dureseaui Fischer, 1975 My single male specimen agrees in all respects with the description. Head (in dorsal view) subcubic, 1.7 times broader than long, head between temples slightly but distinctly
