Prodorsum (Fig. 4A): Tubercles Da, Ba, Bp relatively small, Dp absent or very in­distinct; Da bidentate on one specimen. Setae le, £0, il, ex attenuate; Je, il, ex with small, inconspicuous, barbs, ro smooth. Sensillus smooth, relatively straight except for flagellate tip; cerotegument on distal half. Notogaster: Slightly ovate viewed perpendicular to circumgastric suture; 1.15 times longer than broad. Notogastral setae attenuate, smooth; Cj directed anteriad, c 2 antero­laterad, 1_ and h series posteriad, JDS^ posterodorsad, ps^ and ps^ laterad. Nymphal exuviae usually carried on notogaster. Epimeral setation 3-1-3-4. Seta ^b inserted on tubercle Vp. Legs (Fig. 5, A-D): Setal formulae as in E. flagelloides ; variations included one femur I with 8 setae and one genu I with 3 (y" absent). Leg IV about 1. 7 times ventral body length. Femur I strongly narrowed distally. Femur IV 1.6-1.7 times length of trochanter IV.
