Coniopteryx borealis Tjeder: Hitherto it has been reported from England, Scandinavia, France, Austria', Czechoslovakia and from Roumania, on Quercus spp.

, Carpinus spp. Corylus avelana, Crategus monogyna, Prunus spinosa, Salix spp. and on Syringa vulgaris. Coniopteryx haematica McLachlan: This species have hitherto been reported from many countries of Europe and from Asia Minor, first of all on Quercus. - We have found it at Izsák and at Dolina-puszta on pears, and at Törökbálint on peaches.
