FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERIES NOVA) XXXII. 1. 1979 P. 177179 New species of the Mongolian Proctotrupoid Fauna (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea, Ceraphronidae, Diapriidae and Platygasteridae) By J. B. SZABÓ (Received December 15, 1978) Abstract: Description of three new Proctotrupoid species collected by G. Molnár in Mongolia. A small but truly valuable material was collected by the Hungarian writer Gábor MOLNÁR in the year of 1977. The types of new taxa are preserved in the collection of the Hungarian National History Museum, Budapest. Ceraphronidae T. A. Marshall, 1873 Ceraphron molnári sp.n. Female. Black. Femora dark brown, almost black. Tibiae reddish brown. Tarsi yellow. Scape reddish brown. Wings hyaline. Head transverse, almost twice as long as wide, finely punctured all over. Occiput without carina or furrow. Eyes large, hairy. Frontal depression very deep, circular, but not sharply margined, in frontal view almost touching the middle of eyes, with a fine, almost inconspicuous medial carina. Ocelli in a triangle, hind ones separated from eye margins by six times of their diameter, reddish brown. Scape about six times as long as wide, basal half much thinner than apical half. Pedicel elongated, piriform, about four times as long as wide, basally weakly bending, almost more than one-and-aquarter times longer than first flagellar joint, almost cylindrical, about two-and-a-half times as long as wide, about a quarter times longer than second one. Second flagellar joint one-anda-half times as long as wide, subcylindrical. Third flagellar joint cup-shaped, a little longer than wide and a little thinner than following one. Club hardly distinguishable, but four-jointed. First club joint cup-shaped, as long as wide at the tip. Second club joint cylindrical, oneand-a-half times as long as wide, a little shorter than similar third one. End joint very long, more than four-and-a-half times as long as wide, gradually thickened towards the tip. Thorax strongly depressed, almost flat. Mesoscutum very short, shorter than scutellum, about oneand-a-half times as wide as long, in middle with one weak furrow, very finely, densely punctured. Scutellum longer than wide at base, margined lateraly, very finely, densely punctured. Frenums large, finely punctured. Metascutum forming a small lamella. Propodeum on both sides with two small teeth. Pleura almost smooth and shining. Fore wings without remarkable hairs or fringes, very slightly brown. Subcostal vein and marginal one almost black. Radial vein bright yeUow, about three times as long as marginal one. Abdomen as long as head and thorax together. Petiole not visible from above. Second tergite longest and broadest, at base in the middle with fine, disperse striae, almost reaching middle half of tergite, otherwise smooth and shining. Tergites 3-6 smooth and shining. Length: 1.2 mm. Male and biology unknown. Holotype Nr.: 3039. Locality: Yellow Gobi, Sumun Sharga, 90 km NW from City Altaj.
