Posterior margin of last tergite nearly straight, disregarding the weak curvature observable at lateral angles. Segment rather wide and short. Cerci asym­metrical, thick, short, hardly twice longer than rather short ultimate tergite (Fig. 11). Penis medium elongate, median incision of anterior margin deep, extending considerably beyond median line of paramere. External parameres medium, basal section wide, apically acicul­ate (Fig. 12). One genital lobe recurving beyond middle of paramere, the other short, only slightly longer than wide, both harbouring a small sclerotized plate. - Caffraria (gen.prep. No. 494, det. Dr. H. Last tergite of Lectotype male largely as long as wide (Fig. 13), lateral angles rounded in superior view, posterior margin straight. Paramere of penis long and relatively narrow, median incision of anterior margin deep and wide, plate thereby narrow V-shaped (Fig. 14). External parameres comparatively small, about two and a half times to thrice longer than wide, basally not widened, but slightly narrowed, apically rounded. Genital lobes long and wide, reclinate lobe reaching also base of paramere. Virga well visible, long, extending along entire narrow genital lobe, and even pro­jecting from is. - New Caledonia, Lectotype (gen.prep. No. 347, det. Dr.H. Steinmann) (1 ex); Queensland (2 ex). Epilandex bazyluki sp.nov.(Figs. 15-17) Male: pale yellowish brown. Head and pronotum as well as elytra brown, legs stram­ineous. Anterior margin of pronotum straight, segment gradually widening posteriorad (Fig. 15), posterior margin arcuately rounded, lateral angles rounded.
