Cranopygia cumingi (Dohrn, 1863) Stett. Ent. Zeit. , 24: 54 The holotype is a male; on the basis of the original description he species is easily identifiable. HINCKS gave a redescription of the species living in Ceylon ind South India. The cerci (Fig. 1) are asymmetric, posterior margin of last tergite sinuous, external parameres of penis (Fig. 2) cleft, inner apical tooth incurved (similarly to that of th Dacnodes species). Genital lobes comparatively short, not reaching median line of paran: ire; virga long, its basal section arcuate. - Holotype: Ceylon (gen.prep. No. 303, det. Dr. H, Steinmann). Frons and clypeus of head dark brown, vertex pale yellow. Longitudinal yellow band of pronotum sharply distinct from the brown surface. Cerci asymmetrical (Fig. 3), posterior margin of last tergite sinuous. Penis somewhat robust (Fig. 4), external parameres comparatively small, originating rather removed from each other anteriorly on wide paramere. Genital lobes and virgae straight. - Birma (gen prep.
