tant feature and thus it is not proper to serve as a generic characteristic. Furthermore, DUDA mixed species of Ditrichophora and Hecamedoides under his generic name Strandiscocera. The species nigrithorax Beck, and its allies are species of Ditrichophora and there is no reason to separate them to the other species of this genus. Hecamedoides Hendel, 1917: Deutsche ent. Ztschr., 1917: 42 (type-species: Psilopa glaucella Stenhammar, 1844: K. Vetensk. Akad. Handl, /ser. 3/ 1843: 253 /orig. des./). Strandiscocera buccalis Duda, 1942: Deutsche ent. Ztschr., 1942: 16, is a new junior synonym of H. glaucellus (Stenh.). Material studied (Zoologisches Museum, Berlin, DUDA' s collection): 84 specimens from Nidden, one of the with the following labels: "Typus Nidden 7.8.40" - " buccalis D. S d. D" - " buccalis D 3" (DUDA' s handwriting); other 9 specimens from Gleiwitz and 13 specimens from Laband O.S. in the DUDA' s collection. The other specimens of the type-series from Nidden are lost, most likely because DUDA collected very numerous specimens of this species and he threw away the specimens, which were destroyed by the anthrenus larvae. Hecamedoides moraviae (Becker, 1926): Flieg, pal. Reg., 6/1: 42 (Discocerina), comb. n. Lectotype male: 1) (printed) Moravia Kertész - 2) "46510" - 3) " Clasiopa moraviae B" det. Becker. The holotype is in perfect condition. Paralectotype female: it has only two labels and these are the same as on the lectotype. There are other two specimens in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, which were collected together with the above types but BECKER failed to designate them as type-specimens. Discocerina csikii Hendel, 1933: Deutsche ent. Ztschr. , 1933: 50, syn. n. of H. moraviae (Beck.). Ref.: PAPP, 1975, p. 35: Hecamedoides csikii (Hend. ). Lectotype female (in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum): 1) R/adna/ Borberek, Csiki, "VII 14" - 2) "Discocerina csikii H" F. Hendel det. Paralectotypes: 5 <j>: only one label: R/adna/ Borberek, Csiki, "VII 14". The lectotype is in a perfect state of preservation. The type-specimens of csikii are conspecific with the type-specimens of moraviae, thus the name csikii is the junior synonym. Poly tri chophora duplosetosa (Becker, 1896): Berl. ent. Ztschr., 41: 162 (Clasiopa). Diclasiopa strandi Duda, 1942: Deutsche ent. Ztschr. , 1942: 21, syn. n. Holotype female: 1) (11x6 mm, white) "Nimptsch 22. 9. 09." - 2) (white, 15x7 mm) " Diclasiopa Strandi D. cj> d. Duda Typ" (DUDA' s handwriting). The right wing and the tarsal joints 2-5 of the right hind leg of the holotype are missing but anyway the specimen is unsoiied and well studiable. The holotype agrees in every characteristic with the five syntypes of P. duplosetosa (Beck. ), which were studied in the collection of the Zoologisches M useum, Berlin. Clanoneurum Becker, 1903: Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 2/3: 165 (type-species: Discomyza cimiciformis Haliday, 1855: 124 (orig. des. by Becker, 1926: 24.). Heringium ephydrinum Enderlein, 1934: Zool. Anz., 105: 192, syn. of C. cimiciforme (Hal.) Lectotype male: 1) (printed label, 9x9 mm) Corsica - Gravonata - Dr. Buhr Nr. 11. Mine an: - Atriplex sp." - IX. 33 - 2) Typus - 3) (white label, 15.5x8 mm) " Heringium ephyd rinum Type Enderl. ó"' Dr. Enderlein det 1933 - 4) (white label, 18x9 mm, upside down) a 3 N°ll - 30. VIII. 33". The lectotype is somewhat immature and wrinkled but it is well coloured and completely intact. The pupal case is pinned on a minutia-pin behind the imago. Paralectotypes: 2 g: 1) Corsica - Barbicaja - Dr. Buhr, Nr. 31 - Mine an: "Beta maritima" IX. 33 2) Typus - 3) same as for lectotype but with o_ - 4) "Beta N° 31 - 15. IX. ". ENDERLEIN described it as a peculiar chloropid and as the type-genus of a new subfamily of Chloropidae (Heringiinae). Later he himself synonymized Heringium with Clanoneurum (Enderlein, 1936). Because of its systematical importance it seemed worth designating a lectotype for Heringium ephydrinum Enderlein. Discomyzoides Becker, 1926: Flieg, pal. Reg., 6/1: 23 (type-specie s: D. longicornis Becker, 1926: 1. c. (mon.) is a junior synonym of Clanoneurum Becker, 1903 (Ref.: Hendel, 1933: Deutsche ent. Ztschr., 1933: 50.). I studied the holotype of longicornis Becker in the Zoologisches Museum, Berlin ("Transkaspia n. sp. " - "Discomyzoides longicornis Beck. "). Though the holotype is in a
