2) (6x12 mm, red label without data); this specimen is also intact, its genitalia are well studiable. Two paralectotype males on the same pin: 1) (6x12 mm, white label) "Rauden F 20. 9. 32."- 2) "impudica D 3 d. Duda"; Two paralectotype females: 1) "Rauden F. 20. 9. 32." 2) "T. impudica D. g d. Duda". As the male genitalia of the above specimens of DUDA' s impudicum are the same as the genitalia of laterale (Lw.), their synonymification is obvious. Allotrichoma valkanovi Beshovski, 1966: Compt. rend. Acad. bulg. sei., 19/9: 851, syn.n. of laterale (Lw. }. The synonymification of valkanovi with impudicum Duda was based on studies of their types (PAPP, 1974) (see also above). Allotrichoma oceanum Becker, 1926: Flieg, pal. Reg., 6/1: 20, syn. n. of laterale (Lw. ). Lectotype male (on the same pin, on an other minutia pin also a female paralectotype): 1) (white label, 11x6 mm) "St. Cruz 51113. V." - 2) (white label, 17x6.5 mm) "ocea num Beck." (both the labels with BECKER's handwriting) (in the collecting diary of BECKER: " Allotrichoma n. sp."). The type-specimens are intact, the genitalia of the lectotype are well discernible. One additional specimen in BECKER' s collection: "Tenerife XII. 46626" "oceanum Beck.". Allotrichoma strandi Duda, 1942: Deutsche ent. Ztschr., 1942:7. Lectotype male: 1) (white label, 9. 5 x 4 mm) "Nidden, 29. 6. 40" - 2) (white, 11x4 mm) " A. Strandi D. S d. Duda" - 3) (red. 13x4 mm) "Typus" - 4) (greenish grey, 18x9 mm) "Hypopyg. gez. 9. 5. 41" (all the four labels with DUDA' s handwriting). Paralectotypes: 8 ê, 23 g: "Nidden, 29. VI., 1., 3., 4., 6., 12., 16., 22. VII., 2., 4., 5., 7. VIII. 40" - 'A, Strandi D. d. Duda". This is a distinct species, the surstyli of the males were adequately (1942) and by PAPP (1974). It has only three bristles on its surstylus, has four such bristles PAPP, 1974: Fig. 4, cf. Fig. 6). pictured by DUDA while trispinum Beck. Allotrichoma trispinum Becker, 1896: Berl. ent. Ztschr., 41: 124. Lectotype male: 1) (white label, 12x5 mm) "Oderwald - 18/8. 39244" (BECKER's handwriting) - 2) (white, 11x4 mm) "trispina Beck." - 3) (red label) "Typus". The right wing of the lectotype is somewhat defective (eaten by Anthrenus), its mid right tibia and tarsi, its left mid tarsi and the right hind leg are missing but its genitalia are streched out and well discernible. Paralectotype male: 1) "Oderwald 19/5. 37061"- 2) "trispina Beck. " (its left surstylus is broken, anyway intact). One syntype is loaned to J.T. Runyan. The above results made possible to give a list for the European species of the genus Allotrichoma Beck. , as follows: bezzii Becker, 1896 bifidum L. Papp, 19 74 filiforme Becker, 1896 syn. dahli Beshovski, 19 66 laterale (Loew, I860) syn. impudicum Duda, 1942 oceanum Becker, 1926 valkanovi Beshovski, 19 66 schumanni L. Papp, 1974 strandi Duda, 1942 trispinum Becker, 1896 Glenanthe ripicola Haliday, 1839: Ann. nat. Hist., 3: 404. I managed to study a female syntype of this species in Berlin, which HALIDAY sent to LOEW. The specimen is glued on a card (5x7 mm). Its labels: 1) (6x2 mm) "Dublin" - 2) "H. Glenanthe ri-picola Halid. - Ann. N.H. III." - 3) Coll. H. Loew - 4) (printed) 14417 (the identity number of LOEW' s collection) - 5) " Glenanthe ripicola Hal" (LOEW s handwriting). Its study made possible to establish the following synonymies. Glenanthe fasciventris Becker, 1903: Mitt. zool. Mus. Berlin, 2: 170, syn. n. of ripicola Hal. Holotype female: 1) (5x11 mm) "B. el. Karun 44817 III. " (BECKER's handwriting). The head and right mid tarsi of the holotype are missing. No differences were found to distinguish it from ripicola; its body is lighter than that of the European specimens, which is easily understandable considering the effect of the desert biotopes.
