Length of body with forceps: male: 13.5 mm. Distribution: Costa Rica. Ctenisolabis mahunkai sp. nov. Holotype male: Paraguay, Asuncion, Botanical Garten, 2.1. 1966, Hungarian Soil-Zool. Exp., Nr. P. 41, legit: Dr. S. Mahunka, gen. prep. No. 157, det. Dr.H. Steinmann. ­Paratype female: ditto (1 exempl. ), Puerto P. Stroessner, 6.1. 1966, Hungarian Soil­Zool. Exp. , Nr. 55, P, legit: Dr. I. Loksa, and Dr. S. Mahunka. Male colour dark metalic brown; antennae Rght brown, legs brown, femora brown at the basal section and yellow apically. Body strongly punctured. Head tumid, postfrontal sutures and coronal suture absent. Antennae 13-jointed; first joint long, but shorter than eyes, and longer than distance between antennái bases. Pronotum a Rttle longer than broad, almost quadrate; all margins straight, lateral margins convex posteriorly . Tegmina and wings entirely absent; mesonotum with lateral keels. Metanotum normal. Abdomen oval, typical; ultimate tergite Ctenisolabis-type , broad, and posterior margin with two tubercles. Forceps fang-shaped, curved and pointed apically. Genitalia (Fig. 2) characteristic; para­mere long and narro but widened at anterior margin; median incision of anterior margin of paramere visible; genital lobes weU developed, with very long virgae; virga with chitinous sclerotized section; external parameres relatively short; pointed. Female similar to male, but Rghter brown in colour. Length of body with forceps: male: 12. 5 mm, female: 12 mm. Distribution: Paraguay. Ctenisolabis pusiHa sp. nov. Holotype female: Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Kendy ERya, 22. VI. 1968, legit: Dr. J. Balogh. Female colour dark brown, antennae and forceps light brown, femora brown basaHy, and yellowish white apically, tibiae yellowish brown. Head tumid, broad, eyes relatively long and rounded. Postfrontal and coronal sutures distinct. Antennae 12-jointed; first joint very long, longer than distance between antennái bases, and longer than eyes. Pronotum well de­veloped; longer than broad, lateral margins expanded to posterior margin; aU angles round­ed; median longitudinal furrow well visible. Tegmina and wings entirely absent. Mesonotum with lateral keels. Metanotum normal. Abdomen broad, abdominal tergites punctured. Ulti­mate tergite broad, posterior margin with two tubercles. Forceps Ctenisolabis-type, pointed apically. Legs relatively long, hind leg longer than length of abdomen with forceps. Male unknown. Length of body with forceps: female: 6. 5 mm. Distribution: Sri Lanka. Hung. , 69:96. Female small, black, punctulate. Head rounded, about as broad as pronotum, except legs, reddish yellow, but the femora black basaHy, and mediaUy. Head broad, tumid, mat. Antennae 13-jointed; first joint very long, longer than distance between antennái bases; all joints short proceeding first; third about as long as broad, fourth and fifth globular, others slightly lengthening, but apical joint is only a Rttle longer than broad. Eyes large and promi­nent, rounded. Pronotum longer than broad; wider than head and still wider posteriorly. Mesonotum ample, keels distinct but blunt, bowed outwards at first and arched gradually in­wards, dying out just before reaching posterior margin. Tegmen and wings absent. Meta-
