work, bearing the first 2 pairs of sternal setae st. 1 and st. 2; st. 3 and st. 4 without metasternal plate; st. 1, st. 2 and st. 3 seemingly equal, while st. 4 smaller and lying laterally to genital shield. Genital shield large stretching beyond coxae IV, bearing the genital pair of setae, weakly sclerotized area present beside coxae IV in both of the two sides of genital shield, in addition to two pairs of subequal circular structures present posterior to genital setae, longitudinal reticulation faintly present on genital shield. 5 pairs of ventral setae present without obvious ventral shield. Anal shield subcircular (68 x 88 p), reticulate and finely denticulate posteriorly, bearing one pair of para-anal setae and the post-anal seta. Peritremal shield extends posteriorly curving around coxa IV. All setae on ventral side simple. Fig. 2 E. baloghi sp.n. Venter Material examined: Holotype (359-HM-78), Balassagyarmat, 1972. V. leg. Dr. S. Mahunka (H-1395), 13 ex. paratype data as for holotype. 2 ex. paratype : Balassagyarmat, 1972. V. leg. Dr. S. Mahunka (H-1394), 4 ex. paratype: Bátorliget 1976. III. 2. leg. Dr. S. Mahunka (H-1513), and 14 paratypes deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. 5 paratypes deposited in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Moshtohor, Egypt. Remarks: The present species morphologically is closely related to E. horridus Kramer, 1876, but it can be easily distinguished by: 1. Body size: E. baloghi sp.n. seems to be smaller than E. horridus as the former has 332 - 372 p long and 244-255 p wide idiosoma, while the idiosoma of the latter measures 426 - 500 p and 250 - 270 p, respectively.
