Forcellinia bipunctata sp. n. Measurements. - Length: 180-206 ja, breadth: 110-126 ja. Habitus: Body elongate, disregarding propodosoma, oval in outline. Propodosomavery narrow, especially prodorsum, latter not covering entirely propodosoma. Body surface finely punctured. Dorsal side (Fig. 9)" Hairs of propodosoma long, rigid, outer pair somewhat longer. Distal half of notogaster with paired, round "mirrors" present. Dorsosejugal suture wide with fine, linear sculpture. Great difference in length of notogastral hairs apparent, hairs Cj and Cg thin, bent; others thicker, rigid. Ventral side (Fig. 11): Gnathosoma (Fig. 10) small, narrow, palpi not separated. Apodemes well developed, epimeres closed. Epimeres 1 and 3 with sucking discs. Adhering plate very large, in front of it, beside genital opening peculiar, confluent sucking discs and adhering papiUae (?) present. , Legs: Tibiotarsus of leg I (Fig. 12) with short adhering hairs, end of tarsus armed with a peculiar, extremely long sword-like hair. Solenidion IP j much longer than tarsus . Shape and chaetotaxy of legs II-IV as in Fig. 13-15. Material examined: Holotypus: No. 3761: Ecuador; 18 paratypes: from the same locality; 1 paratype: No. 3810: Ecuador. Holotypus and 6 paratypes: USNM; 9 paratypes (199-PAab-77): HNHM; 2 paratypes: CR; 2 paratypes: MHNG. Remarks: Species with long dorsal hairs are known in this genus, but their hairs are more homogenous without rigid ones. Froriepia heterotricha sp. n. Measurements. - Length: 202 yU, breadth: 134 ja. Habitus: Body obovoid in outline, in front broadly rounded off, from middle strongly narrowing towards rear end. Dorsal side (Fig. 16): Notogaster ribbon-like, even in the middle flat. Hairs short, removed from body margin at equal distance at this place. Notogastral hairs of different lengths . Ventral side (Fig. 18): Gnathosoma (Fig. 17) small, but palpi recognizable. Sternocoxal region, especially apodemes 1 and 2 longitudinally compressed, apodeme 2 scarcely longer than wide. Apodemes thin, well developed, long. Epimeres 1 and 2 closed. At rear ap. sp. not reaching arch of sejugal apodemes, apodeme 4 partly reduced, forming a transversal line, and bending towards legs IV near lateral margin of epimere. Epimeres 1 and 3 with minute hair, or only its insertional point. Adhering disc very long, in front of it 2 modified sucking disc perceptible placed just beside genital opening. Ds discs on adhering plate scarcely distinguishable, disc D2 with 2 separate rings. Legs: All legs, but especially first two pairs with huge claws. Tarsus of leg I (Fig. 19) with 2 lanceolate hairs. Same on leg II (Fig. 20) missing. Large seta 1' ' T of tibia on leg I spiniform; setae 1' T and 1' T as well as 1' ' T on leg II similarly constructed. Legs III and IV (Figs. 21-22) without lanceolate hairs. Material examined: Holotypus: No. 3846: Ecuador; deposited in USNM. Remarks: No representative of the genus Froriepia Vitzthum, 1919 was known heretofore from the Neogea. The new species is readily separable from all other congeners by its notogastral hairs and the course of apodemes. Pinoglyphus gen. n.
