Jacobiasca Dworakowska, 1972 Jacobiasca Dwor. has been described as a subgenus of Austroasca Lower (Dworakowska, 1972 b). The comparative studies show however greater differences between Austroasca Lowerand Jacobiasca Dwor. than between Jacobiasca Dwor. and Afroccidens Ghauri (Ghauri, 1969) or Kyboasca Zachv. The most characteristical features for these three genera are: structure of base of abdomen, the paramere and the anal tube. Jacobiasca boninensis (Mats., 1931) 1 a, Prov. Nghe-An, semideciduous tropical forest Quy-chau, 200 m., atlight, Aug. 25, 1963, coll. T. P 6cs . Jacobiasca prosta sp.n. (Figs. 31-40) Body more robust in comparison with J. boninensis (Mats.). Face brownish-testaceous. Vertex ochre-testaceous with whitish-testaceous bordering of coronal suture and two oblique streaks at sides. Pronotum and hind part of scutellum dark testaceous. Ocelli brownish. Eyes dark brown. Fore wing light testaceous, semitransparent; apical part slightly smoked, veins light. The most distinctive feautre in male genital apparatus is long and simple pygophore appendage (Figs. 36, 37). The appendage is serrated at apex. Subgenital plate (Fig. 32) broad. Penis stem in side view (Fig. 33) narrowing apically; expanded laterad (Fig. 34). Central tooth in connective not visible (Fig. 38). There are two macrosetae on 9th abdominal sternite of a male (Fig. 40). Length o" 3.0 mm . Holotype male, Prov. Nghe-An, semideciduous tropical forest Quy-chau, 200 m., atlight, Aug. 25, 1963, coll.
