R.cruentus Nees. 1. First tergite (Fig. 9) relatively not stout, hardly longer than wide at hind. 2. Head (in superior view, Fig. 14) behind eye more constricted. 3. Every flagellar joint cubic or slightly longer than broad. 4. dj and d 0 equal in length with each other. R.diversus Szépl. 1. First tergite (Fig. 12) relatively stout, never longer than wide at hind. 2. Head (in superior view, Fig. 13) behind eye more rounded. 3. Except distal 8-10 joints every flagellar joint distinctly transverse, shorter than broad (79:14-15, xlOO). 4. d. distinctly shorter than d 2 (20-22:30, x40). R. diversus was described from Yugoslavia (Buccari, Podve2ica=Podvesica); I have two females taken in the Great Hungarian Plain: 1 2 in Gyula, Szanazug (Hungary), 24. Sept. 1963, leg. BAJÄRI; and 1 5 in Paulis, Prov. Arad (Rumania), 21 May 1938 (new records). Designation of types: R ogas (s. str.) diversus Szépligeti: 1. "Croatia, Buccari, 1893 PAVEL", 1 2, lectotype, designated in 1968 by me. - 2. "Croatia, Podvesica, 1885. V. 16, BIRÓ", 1 2» paralectotype, designated in 1968 by me. - Lectotype and paralectotype deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Hym. Typ. No. 1011 (lectotype) and 1012 (paralectotype). Rogas (Aleiodes) genieu lator Nees, 1834 Localities: 1. Croatia, Krapina, 15 July, 1 6 taken on Alnus sp., leg.HENSCH. - 2. Croatia (Dalmatia), Novi, 1 é, leg. SZÉPLIGETI. - 3. Croatia (Dalmatia), Ragusa (=Dubrovnik), 1926, 2 ó*[ coll. MEYER. - 4. Croatia (Dalmatia), Volosca, 14 May 1894, 1 o*i leg. KERTÉSZ. Rogas illustris sp.n. °(Figs. 10-11) Nearest to R. cruentus Nees and discernible from it by few specific features: R. cruentus Nees 1. First tergite (Fig. 9) hardly longer than wide at hind (50:45, x40), its sides distinctly diverging posteriorly. 2. Second tergite (Fig. 9) transverse, shorter than wide at hind (40:52, x40). 3. Third tergite (Fig. 9) distinctly transverse, much shorter than wide at base (30:52, x40). 4. Head above finely punctate-subpunctate. 5. d^ and dr> equal in length with each other, i. e., n inserts d at its middle. R. illustris sp.n. 1. First tergite (Fig. 11) distinctly longer than wide at hind (55:40, x40), its sides less diverging to subparallel. 2. Second tergite (Fig. 11) quadrate, as long as wide at hind. 3. Third tergite (Fig. 11) subquadrate, somewhat shorter than wide at base (36:42, x40). 4. Head above (vertex and particularly tempóra) with rather confluent and relatively strong pun c tation. 5. d more or less shorter than d 2 (2 2 as 20: 30, 1 2 as 23:27, x40). Related to R. dendrolimi Mats., however, differs from it by clearcut features: R. dendrolimi Mats. R. illustris sp.n. 1. Mesopleura evenly coriaceus-rugose, dull, sternaulus absent. 2. T2 2.5 times as long as cuqu2. 3. Second tergite transverse, distinctly shorter than wide at hind. 1. Mesopleura punctated, shiny, sternaulus rugose-rugulose. 2. r2 at most twice as long as cuqu 2 . 3. Second tergite (Fig. 11) quadrate, as long as wide at hind.
