Serbia, PruSka Gora, Rogas (s. str.) dissâctor Nees, 1834 Very similar to R. pulchripes Wesm., the main differences between them are as foRows: dissector Nees (Figs. 1-2) R. pulchripes Wesm. (Figs. 3-4) 1. Head (in superior view) behind eyes strongly constricted (Fig. 3.) 2. Compound eye (in lateral view) three and a half times broader than width of temple (18: 17:5, x40). .(Fig. 4) 3. Mesonotum chagreened, dull. 4. First tergite at most as long as wide at hind (40-45:45, x40). 5. Stigma and alar veins opaque yellow. 6. Thorax reddish yellow, pronotum and propodeum black (or blackish), mesonotum brownish yellow, its median lobe black to almost black, its lateral lobe with a small blackish spot near to tegula. Rogas (s. str.) ductor Thunb., 1822 The equal length of dj and d2 is of a specific character, however, three males (from Borinci: 2 6 and Brezovica: 1 6) with longer d 2 , d^dg as 12:10 (x40). Compound eye (in lateral view) somewhat broader than width of temple (17:12, x40) (Fig.2.) 3. Mesonotum with fine punctation, shiny. 4. First tergite slightly longer than wide at hind (50:45, x40). 5. Stigma and alar veins blackish brown. 6. Thorax black, at most hind margins of scu-tellar region and of metanotum brownish yellow. Rogas (s. str.) diversus Szépl. nom. rev. Rhogas diversus Szépligeti, 1903, Allait. Közlem., 2: 114, 2 (in Hungarianjj 1906, Ann. Mus. Nat. Hung., 4: 616, $ (in German). Rhogas (s. str.) dissector var. diversus SZÉP LIGETI: TELENGA, 1941, Faune de l'URSS, V/3: 164-165; as synonym of R. (s.str.) dissector NEES. In the above synonymy the "var." before the name "diversus" seems a lapse because SZÉPLIGETI never emended his species name to a variety rank. Otherwise, I can not confirm TELENGA' s synonymization, consequently, I consider the name R. diversus SZÉPL. as representing a valid species. R. diversus is very closely related to R. cruentus NEES, the differences between them are slight but of specific value:
