Locality: Croatia, Osiek, 26.April 1898 1 ?. Ontsira igneus (Ratz., 1852) (=Doryctes igneus Ratz., 1852, = Doryctodes igneus (Ratz., 1852)) (Shenefelt & Marsh 1976). Very near to O. imperátor (Hal., 1836), there may be met specimens with transitional features, subsequently, difficult to name unanimously. Specific differences between the two species are as follows: O. Igneus (Ratz.) 1. Body relatively strong, /6-/7-9 mm long. 2. First tergite as long as wide at hind or hardly longer, rather with longitudinal stria tion, 3. Proportional length of r^rg as 7-8:25-32. O. imperátor (Hal.) 1. Body relatively gracile, 5-6/-7/ mm long. 2. First tergite 1.2/-1.3/ times longer than wide at hind, rather substriate and medially smooth. 3. Proportional length of rj:r2 as 7-8:30-35. Widely distributed in the forest zone of the Palaearctic Region. GRAEFFE (1908:143) reported it from Triest, Italy. I have specimens from Hungary, Rumania (Transylvania)and Ukraine (Transcarpathians), new records. New to the fauna of Yugoslavia. Locality: Croatia, Krapina, 1 °: 13 Sept., 1°: 18 June 1929, 1°: without datum, leg. HENSCH. Ontsira imperátor (Hal., 1836) (=Doryctes imperátor (Hal., 1836), = Doryctodes imperátor (Hal., 1836), = Doryctodes imperátor (Hal., 1836)) (Shenefelt & Marsh 1976). Reported from Triest, Italy (GRAEFFE 1908:143); new to the fauna of Yugoslavia. For taxonomical remarks see O. igneus (Ratz.). Localities: 1. Croatia, Krapina, 1 ?, leg. HENSCH. - 2. Serbia, Djakovár ("Dakovd), 30 April 1892, 1 $. Ontsira longicaudis (Gir., 1857) comb.n. Ischiogonus longicaudis Giraud, 1857, Verh. zool.-bot. Ges. Wien, 7^ 175, ?. Doryctes longicaudis Giraud: REINHARD, 1865, Berl. ent. Zschr., _9: 247, 256 ?. Doryctes longicaudis Giraud: TELENGA, 1941, Faune de l'URSS, V/3: 95, 2. Doryctodes ustulatus Fahringer, 1932, Opusc. bracon. (Pal. Reg.), n: 170, ?, syn.n. The above synonymy is based on the examination of the "syntype" of Ischiogonus longicaudis Gir. kindly lent by Mie S. Kelner-Pillault (Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris), and, furthermore, on the new taxonomical evaluation of the names D o ry c te s Hal., 1836, Doryctodes Hellén, 1927 as a subgenus of Doryctes, Doryctodes Hellén 1927 as an independent genus (Telenga 1941), and Ontsira Cam. (Marsh 1973, Shenefelt & Marsh 1976). Described from Austria, reported from France, Germany and Hungary. I have specimens from Hungary and Transylvania (Rumania, new record). New to the fauna of Yugoslavia.
