Localities: 1. Macedonia, Stip, river Kriva Lakavica, 300 m, 8 May 1971, 1 £, P­H, No. 6. - 2. Kosovo, Mts. Sar, Brezovica, 20-23 May 1971, 4 Q & 4 Ó*, P-H, No. 16. Microchelonus friv alds zkyi SHEN. 1973 b (= Chelonus hungaricus SZÉPL. 1896, = Chelonella hungarica SZÉPL. 1908, non = Microchelonus hungaricus SZÉPL. 1908). Abdomen with strong and longitudinal rugosity, interspaces rugo-rugulose. Apex of female abdomen semicircularly excised, lower margin of male foramen of abdomen triangularly produced. Recorded only from a few localities in Central Europe (Hun­gary, Roumania: Transylvania, Austria) and Algeria. A rare species, perhaps with Mediterranean - sub-Mediterranean range. Localities: 1. Albania, Ipek (=Y., Kosovo, Pee), 23 June 1917, 1 cf, leg. CSIKI (Akad. Balk. Exp.), - 2. Kosovo, Mts. Sar, Brezovica, 20-23 May 1971, 1 o, P-H, No. 16. Microchelonus microphthalmu s (WESM . ) Distributed in Europe, Turkmenia, and Mongolia. New to the fauna of Yugoslavia. GRAEFFE (1908) listed it from Triest (Italy), and not from Yugoslavia (SHENEFELT 1973). Locality: Albania, Ipek (=Y., Kosovo, Ped), 23 June 1917, 1 c%, leg. CSIKI (Akad. Balk. Exp.) Microchelonus müiutus (COSTA) An insufficiently known species (FAHRINGER 1934, TELENGA 1941). I have two fe­male (one from Hungary) and one male specimens. Closely related to M. microph­ thalmus (WESM. ), and a comparision with it seems useful: M .microphthalmus (WESM.) ocf 1. Body 2.8-3.2 mm long 2. Transverse sculpture of head above (vertex and frons) more rugo-striated. 3. Sculpture of thorax and abdomen strong . 4. Proportion of length of 3rd basitarsus to 3rd tarsal joints 2-5 as 10:15. 5. Basal third or half of hind tibia brown to light brown, or tibia 3 with a basal, more or less light brown ring. M. minutus (COSTA) 0$ 1. Body 3.6-3.8 mm long 2. Transverse sculpture of head above (vertex and frons) more rugose. 3. Sculpture of thorax and abdomen not so strong. 4. Proportion of length of 3rd basitar­sus to 3rd tarsal joints 2-5 as 13­14:17-18. 5. Two-thirds to three-fourths of hind tibia yellow to vivid yellow. Recorded from Sicily, Triest, and (?) Germany. New to the fauna of Yugoslavia. Locality: Dalmatia, Novi, 2 £ & 1 cf, leg. SZÉPLIGETI ( =Chelonella sulcata NEES, det. SZÉPLIGETI)
