Closely related to Microgaster leechi WALLEY (Nearctic Region: Canada, USA), but differs from it by the combination of the following features: M.leechi WALLEY (Figs. 1-6) 1. Body 4. 75-5 mm long. 2. Ocelli large, hind tangent of fore ocellus virtually cutting both hind ocelli, distance between fore and a hind ocelli much smaller than diame­ter of an ocellus (Fig. 7. ). 3. Penultimate joint of antenna thick, 1.7 times as long as wide. 4. Side of pronotum punctate, medially almost smooth, shiny. 5. T)i distally more narrowing, n^bas_. 2.5-2.6 (-2.7) times as long as n. ree . ; di as long as d£ . 6. Nervellus of hind wing arched toward alar base (Fig. 8). 7. Inner spur of hind tibia short, basi­tarsus 1.5 times as long as that. M.szelenyii sp.n. (Fig. 1-6) 1. Body 4-4.2 mm long 2. Ocelli small, hind tangent of fore ocel­lus virtually almost touching (or touch­ing) both hind ocelli, distance between fore and a hind ocelli hardly smaller than diameter of an ocellus (Fig. 2). 3. Penultatite joint of antenna thin, 2.5-3 times as long as wide (Fig. 1). 4. Side of pronotum rugopunctate, shiny. 5. Pi elongated, n^bas.. only twice as long as n^rec. ; di shorter than d2 (Fig. 3) 6. NerveHus of hind wing straight (Fig. 4) 7. Inner spur of hind tibia long, basitarsus only 1.28-1.3 times as long as that.
