The holotype and one paratype are deposited in the Zoologisches Forschungsinstitut und Museum A.Koenig, Bonn, one paratype in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Differential diagnosis: According to its external morphological features, E.kueppersi sp.n. stands nearest to E .irritaria STAUDINGER, 1892. The main differences are as follows: Fore wings: E .kueppersi E.irritaria costa termen apex median field terminal field Discal spots on underside of wings arcuate slightly arcuated pointed white light brown expressed not arcuate strongly arcuated obtuse pale brown yellow obsolete STAUD INGER (1892) considered irritaria STGR, standing near to irriguât a HBN., while BOHATSCH thought them assignable to limbata STGR. There is no question of a relationship with the letter, and in my opinion E .irritaria and E .kueppersi sp.n. constitute a distinct specific group, with probably several other related species expectable from Asia.
