It was described from Spain, but it have also been found in England, in Prance, in Finland (HACKMAN, 1965), in Bulgaria, in Hungary (PAPP, 1973) and in Kazakhstan. Copromyza (Borborillus) nltidifrons DUDA, 1923 1 9: Puerto de Andraitx. Widely distributed in Europe, living in horse-droppings. Copromyza (Borborillus) sordida ZETTERSTEDT, 18'47 1 9: Puerto de Andraitx. Copromyza (Copromyza) boreal is ZETTERSTEDT, 1847 4 cf, 2 9: Koli, faeces trap, 16.VII.; 1 9: Oulanka, Biol.Stat., I9.VII.; 1 cf: ibid., 20.VII.; 2 9: ibid., 23.VII.; 1 9: ibid., faeces trap, 22.VII.; 2 9: Pallastunturi,Pyhäj oki, 29.VII.jl 9: Ibid., meat trap, 29.VII. It occurs only in the subarctic areas of the Palaearctic Region. Copromyza (Copromyza) similis (COLLIN, 1930) 1 cf, 1 9: Koli, faeces trap, 16 .VII. Copromyza (Copromyza) stercoraria (MEIGEN, I83O) 1 cf, 1 9: Kilpisjärvi, 28.VII.; 1 cf, 29: Pallastunturi, Pyhä­joki, 29.VII. Coprolca dlgltata (DUDA, 1918) 279 cf, 334 9: Puerto de Andraitx. It had been known from Yugo­slavia, Hungary, Tunis and Egypt. In Hungary it develops in horse-drop pings in large numbers. Coprica ferruginata (STENHAMMAR, 1854) 2 cf, 1 9: Puerto de Andratix.
