Remarks on the habitat of some species During his expeditions Dr. Z. Kaszab visited varied biotopes (KASZAB, 1963, 1965a, 1965b, 1966, 1968a, 1968b). His material therefore offers some ecological conclusions on the collected species. The most common Mongolian nabid, Nabis feroides mimoferus is only rarely collected below an altitude of 1000 m, while it seems to be most frequent between IOOO-I5OO m (Table l). Nearly 70 % of the habitats is known from an altitude of 1200-1800 m. Only localities in high altitudes are known in the Gobi. This species may be found in various habitats. It occurs most frequently in the steppes and mountain steppes, but it lives on the fringes of forests, mountain meadows, moist valleys, brook
